YWCA Metro St. Louis Partners with St. Louis Battlehawks to Display Crisis Help Line Information Throughout The Dome

St. Louis, Missouri | May 20, 2026 — YWCA Metro St. Louis and the St. Louis Battlehawks have announced a partnership to display YWCA Metro St. Louis’s 24/7 Crisis Help Line in all women’s and family restrooms at The Dome at America’s Center — ensuring critical resource information is visible and accessible to anyone who may need it throughout the remainder of the 2026 UFL season.

For some, this moment of quiet and privacy may be their only opportunity to reach out for help. By placing Crisis Help Line information in restrooms throughout The Dome, this partnership ensures that number is there when it matters most.

Survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault often face significant moments of uncertainty before reaching out. Knowing that help is available — and how to access it — can be the turning point. YWCA Metro St. Louis’s 24/7 Crisis Help Line connects callers with trained staff around the clock, offering immediate support, safety planning, and connection to services.

“Survivors deserve to know that help is never far away,” said Dr. Cheryl Watkins-Knott, President and CEO of YWCA Metro St. Louis. “When an organization with the reach and voice of the Battlehawks chooses to use their platform this way, it sends a powerful message to anyone sitting in those stands: You are not alone. Support is available, and it starts with one call.”

“The Battlehawks are committed to being a positive force in the St. Louis region on and off the field,” said Ricky Proehl, Head Coach of the St. Louis Battlehawks. “Partnering with YWCA Metro St. Louis to display their Crisis Help Line throughout The Dome is one of the most meaningful things we can do with our platform — ensuring every fan knows where to turn if they or someone they love needs help.”

YWCA Metro St. Louis joined the Battlehawks at Fan Fest on May 8, connecting directly with fans and sharing information about available resources and services.
