With more than 120 years of service, YWCA Metro St. Louis reaches approximately 10,000 survivors, individuals, and families annually through a coordinated system of holistic services focused on safety, education, healing, and economic empowerment.
Our Signature Programs
- Early Childhood & Family Empowerment – Supporting young children through high-quality early education while strengthening families with resources that foster stability, growth, and success. We are Missouri’s largest provider of direct Head Start services, operating 8 centers and 11 partner sites with National Program of Excellence accreditation.
- Safety, Healing & Advocacy – Providing trauma-informed crisis response, counseling, and survivor-centered support while connecting individuals to resources and systems that promote safety, healing, and long-term stability.
- Economic Empowerment – Building pathways to financial stability through workforce development, career readiness, financial education, and supportive services that help individuals achieve long-term economic security.
