In the past several years, we have seen an increasing number of students bring attention to issues that affect their lives as teens. Tell us about a social issue or concern in your school or community that you have observed or experienced that has not been addressed. How would you address it? Think in terms of your leadership skills. Would you have to organize a team? If so, who would be on it? How would you (and your team) make a difference and become transformative leaders. Please include resources and community citizens and/or organizations that you feel should be a part of this effort. List changes, if any, that you feel would be necessary for this project to be transformative or make a difference. This must be an issue that you feel impacts young women your age.
