There are many ways to support YWCA
Gifts of supplies are necessary to keep our programs running strong. The following programs are currently looking for in-kind donations — check out their wish lists to see if you can help!
Women’s Crisis Services
YWCA Metro St. Louis Women’s Crisis Services assists more than 1,000 victims annually. Our domestic violence-sexual assault response team (SART) works collaboratively with St. Louis City and County police officers, area hospitals, and prosecutors as well as with other victim’s service agencies. Crisis services are provided at no cost.
YWCA Head Start
YWCA Head Start provides more than 3,000 families in the St. Louis region with high-quality childcare services, as well as education and job training for Head Start parents.
Participants are connected with eligible households with housing as quickly as possible. We may also provide financial assistance to achieve and maintain housing stability, such as rent, childcare, utility and grocery assistance.
Sexual Health and Disability Education (SHADE)
SHADE offers individual and small group classes on friendships, dating, and sexuality to individuals with developmental disabilities.
