Healing Processing Group for Adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse

July 24 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Event Series (See All)
A group of adults sits in a circle during a support group session. A Black woman in a green blouse speaks emotionally while another woman beside her offers comfort by placing a hand on her shoulder. Others in the group listen attentively in a bright room with large windows.

Thursdays, July 24 through October 9  | 5:00–6:45 p.m.

Experiencing child sexual abuse can feel isolating. Join other survivors, in a welcoming, nonjudgmental space. Group provides an opportunity for validation of shared experiences and foster’s connections, while learning and supporting each other. Topics to include: Boundaries, Trust, Relationships, Shame, self-blame, and more.

Eligibility: Open to adults (18+) who have experienced child sexual abuse and are currently in, or have previously received, trauma-focused counseling. Free individual therapy may be available.

Prior registration is required, and space is limited. To learn more and find out if this group is right for you, please contact Sharon Berry, Therapist: sberry@ywcastlmo.org | 314.531.1115 x 5335 or Star Martin, Therapist: smartin@ywcastlmo.org | 314.531.1115 x 5317
